I dag er kommunikasjonen mellom den norske økologiske produsenten og markedet i alt for stor grad styrt av de store kjedenes manglende evne og lyst til å løfte fram produktenes kvaliteter og lokale historie. Naturens Grøde er “the missing link” mellom øko-bonden og markedet. Dette er stedet der forbrukerne kan etterspørre tilgjengelig sortiment av økologiske produkter i sitt nærmiljø og der bønder og butikker kan legge inn hva de har for salg. Programmets funksjon, Nettbørs, er markedet der lokale produsenter direkte møter råvarekjøpere. Naturens Grøde vil stimulere til økt bruk av kortreiste økologiske råvarer i lokal matproduksjon samt til økt bevissthet og bruk av økologiske matvarer i husholdningene i Norge.
Communication today between the Norwegian production and the market is mostly controlled by big companies lack of desire and competence to increase the products quality and local history. Naturens Grøde is the missing link between the eco-farmer and the market. This is a place where the consumers can trace available selection of ecological products in their local environments and where the farmers and stores place what they are selling. The programs function, Nettbørs, is a market where local producers meet commodity buyers. Naturens Grøde will stimulate an increase in use of local products aswell as awareness and use of ecological food in Norwegian households.
